hard but workable it presents no problems for gluing

the figure is unique in that the marbling effect doesn't follow

the grain but it quite random.

blanks are 68mm by 520mm by about 9mm

Blank A has about as interesting a marbling as I have seen

Blank B has areas of sapwood which some consider a decorative feature

the sapwood should be perfectly stable, strong, and workable.
