Wild Mango (Cordylia africana) 

A  yellowish timber which is busy looking with a swirling grain, moderate workability and sharp cutters are recommended, it should come up lovely with oil but lacquer is also good, light in weight and with good tonal qualities.

Prized in Africa for hollowed out drums because of its tonal qualities and volume.

Blanks are 70-75mm wide and dressed to 9mm thick, sold in two lengths, 550mm and 630mm.
