size is the thickness of the binding on the side

The depth of cut from top of guitar down the side is 5mm plus

The depth of cut you make for the purfling.

The six size cutter cuts flush and rebates of 1.5mm, 2.5mm,

3mm, 3.5mm and 4.5mm.
