Panga Panga neck blanks from the Dalmann sawmill in Mozambique https://www.dalmann.com/
Panga Panga Millettia stuhlmannii
is closely related to Wenge and is very similar in appearance. Not that easy to work but it's attractiveness more than makes up for this for most guitar builders.
The Mozambique Panga has much more character than the Tanzanian Panga that I also stock and is recommended.
Given how stable this wood I would suggest that the attractiveness of the flat sawn blanks make them a good option, The rift cut blanks ( 30 to 60 degree) will be hard to distinguish from quarter without looking at the end grain.
